Lǔwèn

 ‘Questions of Lǔ’. A chapter consisting largely of political consultations, strategic discussions, and practical debates involving rulers, officials, military leaders, and Mohists. The chapter is notable for its highly contextual style of reasoning, repeatedly asking how general principles should be applied in particular circumstances. Many passages resemble case studies in policy analysis, strategic planning, or applied ethics.
